Rose

Born and raised in New Orleans 1947, Rose sells incense and flowers on the streets. But when she meets Heath Leaf, a stage actor, she is instantly drawn to him. Tempted by him, she gives him flowers for relaxation. In time, they keep running into one another, including the time he is passed out drunk in an alley and she walks him home. Although it is taboo for a black woman and white man to be in a relationship, it doesn't stop them, despite the locals deeming her to be a witch. Which, is actually true . . . .
